After a four-year hiatus, the 2024 Beijing International Auto Show grandly opened on 25th April in Beijing. The global automotive landscape is undergoing a seismic shift. Last year, China exported 5.2 million vehicles, surpassing traditional powerhouses Germany and Japan for the first time, with 1.2 million of those being new energy vehicles (NEVs), representing a staggering 77.2% year-on-year growth and setting a new historical record with over 60% of the global market share. This year, NEVs have officially become mainstream, with sales surpassing 50% of total vehicle sales, overtaking traditional fuel vehicles.
